Erica Espinoza

Erica is a Medical Social Worker and Associate Social Worker (ASW 129406). As a first-generation graduate and proud daughter of Mexican immigrants, Erica holds a Master’s of Social Work Clinical Concentration degree from University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Fresno Pacific University. Erica strives to provide compassionate support for patients and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. She focuses on helping patients navigate medical systems, cope with illness, and life transitions, and access the resources they need to thrive.

Erica has gained extensive experience along her career path in the helping profession, amongst a variety of settings including: Case Management, Medical Social Worker, Case Worker, Care Coordinator Supervisor, County Social Worker, and currently Hospice. 

She currently holds her Associate Social Worker License as she completes her practicum experience towards obtaining her Licensed Clinical Social Worker License. As she navigates working two roles as a Medical Social Worker and Clinician Trainee for Hope Counseling, she strives to provide compassionate services while utilizing an approach that is grounded in empathy, showing interest, and respect for each client’s unique experiences and strengths. She believes therapy is a space for curiosity, growth, and self-discovery while being passionate in helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, and move toward lives that feel more balanced and fulfilling.

Outside of her work, Erica enjoys investing in her own personal growth and holistic well-being. She enjoys doing outdoor activities with her fiancé such as tennis, hiking, and traveling. She is self-driven by faith, hope, and the love she receives from her family and pets.
